Much Do, Little Time

There never seems to be enough hours in a day.

End of story.

I kid. But seriously, by the time you get up in the morning around 7.30am-ish and brush your teeth and complete the morning ritual, you are out the door by 8.30am-ish. Then…from then on in you have work, uni or school which is where most your day is spent. But you have to complete other various tasks like cleaning the house, do the grocery shopping etc.

For instance, organising this exhibition to be held on the 14th March (PLEASE COME) requires a bit of work to get it all together. But to finish the artwork, organise programs and organise food and drinks seems to be an impossible job. But non-the-less I always find a way for what I need to be done.

But when we do get that spare moment where we don't have to do anything, boy oh boy, its just bliss. The other weekend, I decided that I needed to get out of the house, as I had been painting all weekend and went for a walk. I had no idea where I was headed which was kinda thrilling, in the lamest sense. Sydney was a bloody scorcher and man, it was a hot walk. But I eventually found myself down at Circular Quay and then further on to Botanical Gardens. And oh my, it was the best decision I had made in that week. I sat down in a cool, shady and admittedly itchy patch of grass for about two hours literally watched the world go by, and watch people go by. Seriously, people watching should become a sport.

Anyway, moral of the story is that despite living hectic and exciting lives, don't forget to stop and look at where you are living.
