The end of 2014 has passed, and now I am in the mood to reflect…
I dedicated last year to see, experience and indulge in the mass of live music that is at the fingertips of every individual in Sydney. From enjoying small local acts to National and International artists, I believe I succeeded in my endeavour. Needless to say I actually learnt an abundance of information about the music industry as well meeting countless people along the way. But more interestingly, I learnt more about myself (shock horror!).
Before this little adventure started I had a confusing image of who I was as an artist. But! since seeing all these talented people stand before a drunken crowd and not be turned off, it made me realise who I am as an artist. These images that the artists embody act like a brand that is easily recognisable to any individual. I did not have this as an artist, but now I have taken a collage of all these different types of performers and amalgamated them into something that I want to be. So in other words, yay!
Ok, the sentimental bullshit is over now.
This is a compiled list of some (all that I can remember) of the artists that I have seen, with some of the artists seen more than once:
1 Georgia Fair
2 The 1975
3 Missy Higgins
4 Gypsies of Pangea
