Be My Valentine?

So the sacred day of love is only t-minus two days away and all those single souls out there are planning to spend the day drinking cheap wine/beer, whilst sitting in a circle eating a punnet of ice-cream with a few girl-friends or mates talking about their feelings. For those in a relationship, you lucky bastards. Soaking up the love, whilst you flick through your Facebook feed reading the memes of every other upset emotional being. Its just the way valentines day works. Deal with it.

My valentines day will be spent at the Braidwood Country Races. Oh so fancy! A friend and I will be soaking up the event that has a reputation for something going wrong one way or another. Whether it be Kangaroo’s racing (instead of horses), someone choking on a hot dog, or gale force winds. So we will be there drinking wine, then betting on races to afford more wine. I think thats a solid day ahead, if I say so myself.
